Vocabulario Parte I
 

Let's begin:

hablar (to speak) 
El presidente habla todo el día en Venezuela. 
(The president talks all day in Venezuela.)
trece (thirteen)
 Quedan trece huevos en la nevera.
 (There are thirteen eggs in the refrigerator.)
la cerveza (beer) 
 La cerveza es para los que tengan más de veitiún años.
(Beer is for those who are over twenty-one years old.)
el dinero (money)
 Llevo poco dinero, solo tres dólares. Tengo que ir al banco. 
( I don't have much money. Just three dollars. I need to go to the bank.)
el hombre (man) 
El hombre aquel enseña en la universidad
. (That man over there teaches at the university.)
pagar (to pay)
 Pagamos las clases con un préstamo. 
(We pay the classes with a loan.)
la oficina (office)
 El profesor y el estudiante están en la oficina
.( The professor and the student are at the office.)
cantar (to sing)
 Me gusta cantar mucho.
 (I like to sing a lot.)
el papel (paper)
 Tengo papel y bolígrafo para tomar notas.
 (I have paper and pen to take notes.)
el estudiante (el estudiante)
 Eduardo es el estudiante de Guatemala.
 (Eduardo is the student from Guatemala.)

Esta noche hay una fiesta en el cuarto de María. 
(Tonight, there is a party in María's room.)

     Todos los estudiantes bailan y cantan.
(All the students dance and sing.)

Jaime busca una Pepsi Cola.
 (Jaime looks for a Pepsi Cola.)

      Marta habla con un amigo. 
(Marta talks to a friend.)

José les enseña un baile de Colombia.
 (José is teaching them a dance from Colombia)

       Todas las mujeres quieren bailar con el estudiante mexicano
.( All the women want to dance with the Mexican student.)

La fiesta es estupenda, pero los estudiantes necesitan regresar a sus casas o a sus cuartos a las dos de la mañana. ¡Hay clases mañana!
(The party is wonderful, but the students need to return to their houses or dorms at two in the morning. There are classes tomorrow!)

         bailar (to dance)

Todas las mujeres quieren bailar con el estudiante mexicano.
( All the women want to dance with the Mexican student.)

          buscar (to look for)

    Yo busca la librería.
 (I am looking for the bookstore.)

          comprar (to buy)

     Voy a comprar papel y bolígrafo para tomar notas. 
(I am going to buy paper and pen to take notes.)

VOCABULARY PRACTICE VIDEO

In this video,  there are few words for you to practice or use for dictation to increase your understanding of the Spanish language pronunciation. First, you will hear the word or the sentence and then you will see the word or sentence in print. To make it more challenging, you could take a piece of paper and use it as dictation. Next, you could check what you wrote with the text that follows to make sure you got it write.




Mi mamá es baja y delgada.
Mi papá es alto y delgado.
Mi hermano es listo y trabajador.
Mi hermano es rubio y gordo.
Mi tío es moreno y antipático.
Mi tía es vieja.
Mi primo es grande.
Mi primo es pequeño.
Mi abuelo es guapo.
Mi abuela es bonita.

El pelo de mi tía es corto.
El pelo de mi tío es largo.
El carro de mi abuelo es nuevo.
El carro de mi papá es viejo.
El regalo es grande.
El regalo es pequeño.

Miguel es perezoso.
Ramón es trabajador.
El apellido de Ramón es Rodriguez.
La casa de María es grande y bonita.
El coche (carro) de Rodrigo es caro.
El coche (carro) de Manuel es barato.
La francesa es guapa.
La mexicana es joven.
La norteamericana es morena.

As you can see, you can make sentences with the words you have learnt so far. I'll be making more videos to add to this post to help with pronunciation and increase your vocabulary at the same time that we make sentences.
